Bob Marley Soccer!

Many people are suprised to hear that Bob Marley is a fantastic soccer player and a huge fan.Bob Marley simply loved kicking a ball. About every single day when on tour or in the recording studio. He also loved watching soccer on tv. His favourite team was Santos Futebol Clube ( Brazil ). His favourite player was Edson Arantes do Nascimento, world famous as Pele, who began playing for Santos at age 15.

Rastifarianisum.



With Reggae music offten comes the religon Rastifarianisum. The Rastsfari movementy is a "messianic religio-political movement" One that began in the Jamacian slums in the 1920s and 30s. The most famous Rastafari is Bob Malrey, whose reggae music gained the Jamaican movement in international recognition. There is significant variation within the Rastafari movement and no formal prganization. Some Rastafarians see rasta more as a way of life than a religon.




Third World


Third World is widley recognized as one of the legendary bands in reggae history. Third world is distintive by the virtue or their crossover skill: a great deal of their success grew from their ability to bled reggae music with other sounds, particularly those coming out of Black American culture.

Johhny Nash was born in Houston, Texas on Augest 19th 1940. In 1972, Johhny started recording in Jamica. This is where he met Bob Marley. Bob marley wrote Johnnys next big hit called "stir it up"
